My wife and I stopped here for lunch while in the area. You could easily miss it, it's on a residential street and does not have a lot of signage. Angie, the owner, and the young woman working behind the counter were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My wife got a chicken salad sandwich and herbal tea. I got a cup of roasted red pepper and Gouda soup and a grilled cheese with bacon. We also got a pumpkin and a lemon blueberry scone to go. All the food was very good. We would definitely go there the next time we are in the area.

I have stopped in 3 times in the past month with different friends and my mom. It's absolutely lovely! What a perfect location in this big old house. It's eclectically decorated and very inviting. The coffee is tasty.... I've had Americano and most recently tried a delicious latte called the scarecrow. The treats are quite tasty as my mom had a gluten-free cheese waffle called a chaffle. Another friend had a delicious maple scone. They also serve tea hot and cold and hot chocolate and sandwiches. There is seating at the various tables and couches and even a counter on the inside and several tables outside on the porch. Bathroom is upstairs inside. Will definitely be going back as often as I can! Prices are quite reasonable!

What a special little place this is. We were surprised to find The Drawing Room on our way up to Cook Forest but when we saw the signs we had to stop. The barista was kind enough to make something she hadn't tried before and did a great job on my miel. They have Commonplace coffee on drip too. My hubby loves all the Commonplace coffees.

I love the drawing room. It's so cozy. It's such a nice place to sit and relax or chat with friends over breakfast and lunch. Also there's so many drink options! All kinds of themed coffees, smoothies, refreshers, and Italian sodas. The food is also yummy and Angie is very sweet!

The Drawing Room is a really nice place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. You can tell that Angie, the founder, built it with the community in mind — it’s more than just a coffee shop. With that said, it is the only place in Knox to get espresso based coffee drinks. The Smaug (spicy cinnamon chai latte with whipped cream) was great. The Americano was perfect. They even have Affogato here too! (Espresso and Vanilla Ice Cream) The Croque Madame is delicious and filling. I’ve also enjoyed the scones, which go perfectly with coffee or tea. The space has comfortable seating, fast Wi-Fi, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to stay for a while. It’s a great addition to the area and definitely worth stopping by.

A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers I was on the hunt for a good latte and stumbled upon this charming coffee shop—and what a pleasant surprise! The menu is comprehensive, with everything made to order and crafted with real care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating that invites you to stay a while. I loved the thoughtful touches like board games and books to enjoy during your visit. 10/10—I'll definitely be back!
